Strawberry Chia Jam – GF & Vegan

Simple, delicious and very versatile.  Need I say more :)?


  • 2 cups frozen (or fresh) strawberries
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  1. In a small saucepan, heat all ingredients to a boil, then reduce to simmer for about 15 minutes (make sure to stir frequently to prevent strawberries from sticking to the bottom of the pot).
  2. Mash strawberries with a fork or masher to break up.
  3. Remove strawberries from heat and let cool.  Once cooled, place in a glass jar and store in the fridge for up to two weeks.
  4. Enjoy!
