Garlic Lemon Slow Cooker Chicken

Garlic Lemon Chicken

Easy and delicious – this slow cooker recipe is a great weekday meal option.


  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • Dried oregano, salt & pepper (to sprinkle on top of chicken)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3 tbsp chicken concentrated liquid stock (make sure it’s gluten free – as of the date of this post, Knorr and No Name brand has no gluten in its stock)
  • 6 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • lemon zest
  • Parmesan cheese


  1. Sprinkle oregano, salt and pepper on chicken breasts
  2. Heat butter in skillet and brown chicken on each side
  3. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker
  4. Using the same skillet, add garlic, water, chicken stock and lemon juice and heat to boiling
  5. Pour over the chicken in the slow cooker
  6. Cook chicken on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours
  7. Place chicken on top of your favourite gluten free pasta, pour some sauce onto the chicken and sprinkle with lemon zest and Parmesan cheese
