Continuing my trend of comfort food, I thought I would share a gluten-free breakfast idea for those cold, dark and snowy mornings. “El Peto Cream of Brown Rice Cereal” is a great breakfast cereal that is gluten free. It comes in a box (pictured below) and I purchase it from Bulk Barn. All you have to do is boil a cup of milk in a saucepan, add 3 tbsp. of the rice cereal and whisk for a few minutes until thick. Top with some fresh fruit, slivered almonds and a bit of brown sugar. El Peto also offers a lot of other gluten free products such as muffin and cake mixes, soups and baking mixes.
